| T-Shirt Quilts are such a memorable gift that is treasured for a lifetime. How precious it is to snuggle up in a quilt of your very own memories. All you need to do is collect the number of t-shirts you desire to be in the quilt and let us do the rest. You may sketch the layout for your t-shirts. Please label with a piece of paper safety pinning the paper (so it does not become attached to the wrong shirt) to each shirt identifying the location to match your sketch. Some people leave it up to us to decide the placement. If you have a color for the borders and back in mind please give us a first and second chose. Putting pink on grandpa’s quilt might not be the best color choice if we don’t know who the quilt will be given to!!! Next you need to choose the design for your quilt. We offer two styles: Style 1 = t-shirts sown one T-shirt directly to the next. Style 2 = t-shirts are sown with a sash (strip of fabric) between the t-shirts. One or more borders are sown around all quilts with machine binding and mitered corners. The normal shirt panel is cut for a 12” X 12” finished panel. Some shirt logos are larger so we will then work with the shirts to make them finish to 14” X 14”. Also if you have a quilt size in mind we will try to make it as close to your size as possible.
